I would say that the major attraction is the view, not the Christ itself. From it you can see hole Lubango and how big it is. Just a few minutes drive from Lubango

Excellent location. From the top you can see the whole town. Exceptionally beautiful. However we were not able to enter the building.

Great tourist venue making Lubango unique. It also provides great views of Lubango itself. You can really get a good idea of the landscape and size of Lubango from this location.

Christ the Redeemer, situated high up on the mountain overlooking the city of Lubango. Worth coming here if you are visiting this city. If you are lucky enough, you may see an aeroplane descending to the domestic airport nearby, and you get to see it at your horizontal view. Pretty amazing.

Great place with an awesome view of the city. Beautiful statue. Beautiful story. I wish there was a tour guide or a post somewhere with writings to explain its history. We went on a weekday and saw no one attending. The entrance was locked. But still was a great experience being there. Near by are the huge letter LUBANGO and N'GOLA. Really good place for pictures.

The spot is amazing but neglected. Too many beggars. One feels swamped.

There are not many statues like this - the one in Rio is obviously the most famous - but visiting this one definitely brings some real bragging rights!
