Walk through the rooms and hallways of history and mystery at Eden Hotel. Built by German hoteliers in 1897, the hotel was one of the most exclusive establishments in Argentina. In the hotel’s heyday, its guest list included many famous names, such as Edward the Prince of Wales, and Umberto II of Italy. The hotel, however, gained notoriety for its owners’ sympathies toward the Nazis during World War II, which gave rise to many conspiracy theories. The most famous story tells that Adolf Hitler didn’t commit suicide in his Berlin bunker but escaped to Argentina and lived the rest of his life in this hotel. By the late 1960s the hotel fell into disrepair, but it’s now partially restored, allowing you to experience some of its former glory. To learn more, schedule a guided tours of the hotel. • Museum with much history! Entrance price, parking, 30 min documental film and giuded 2 hour tour for 300ARS (~1,50€). Staff is super friendly and the museum dog „Flor“ joined the tour. Highly recommenable.
  • Beautiful experience. The visit to La.Caba was unforgetable
  • The Hotel Eden, built in 1897, became in 2006 an excellent museum where you can make 2 guided tours, the day tours (from 9am), where you can see the cultural history (how it was built, the visits of the " Che "Guevara, Adolf Hitler, the poet Rubén Darío, the Prince of Wales, Albert Einstein, among other world-famous personalities and presidents who went down the Marmor Carrara staircase, among other stories), the nocturnal visits take place at 10pm and they are related to Myths and Legends that happened in the hotel (they start with a movie that tells paranormal events that happened in the hotel and then a dark tour for an hour, where unexplained things happen and they are scary!). Highly recommended !. Excelete attention of the staff, in an unforgettable place and with a unique history.
  • Very interesting to learn what happened there, very historical and cultural. Recommended.
