We visited the ski resort in the summer time. It’s a beautiful area with lots of good hiking. We drove up from the lodge where we were staying and it was very accessible.

A really good ski station for all kind of skiers, the elevation methods are fast and good, the slopes are fun. Also the infrastructure in the bottom is good.

Unacceptable Opinión sobre el Cerro Chapelco Opinión escrita ayer Traductor de Google First we had to wait an hour for the gondola to get fixed. Then it is extremely poorly ran. Not enough employees to keep things organized. This allowed extremely rude people to jump the line. We were with an 8 year old. It is the resorts responsibility to not allow line cutting. For the amount of people on the hill, the parking is not large enough. Evidently the province had to give some of this land to a group of chilean natives (mapuches) therefore shrinking the size of the parking lot and making it almost impossible to get in and out. This also caused people to have to park on the street, which should be illegal, turning the road into a very dangerous one car lane for two way traffic in the mountains with curves and lots of snow. The potholes on the road were very deep and dangerous . No maintenance. The lodge (tent) at the top of the hill was freezing, heaters were not working . this should be a place to warm up and relax before hitting the runs again. evidently the owner, Jorge Zabala has no respect for his customers. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience for all the money we had to pay. We will not be back.
