Kasagh River, Artashavan

Today, a taxi dropped us off at a plateau near the river Kasagh. We hiked through the valley. It wasn'tan easy track but it was magnificent. As it gets really hot here, bring plenty of drinking water....  more

The Kasagh river passes through a fairly narrow Gorge that creates a very picturesque scenery. The fact that is littered by old monasteries and charming villages adds to the overall attraction

Kasagh River is quite beautiful. I've visited the river from Hovhannavank to Ashtarak to Oshakan to Aghtamir and further north and further south. At some points the river runs through a deep, lush...
