Create an itinerary including Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins
On the northern coast stands Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins, a remnant from the 19th century gold rush in Aruba. Strong winds from the Caribbean sea power the 1874 structure, and the crumbling mill is now a popular stop on local jeep tours navigating coastal dirt roads. The dramatic backdrop of sea and sand also make it a stunning spot to soak up the scenery on foot. Follow tradition by stacking local stones on the beach and making a wish. • On the way to the ruins, we visited Baby Natural bridge area. It was a nice stop. The Bushiribana Gold Mine Ruins were a very nice spot. Walking around the ruins and take pictures!

  • Did a quick stop to see the ruins of Aruba's gold mine on our way to view the Natural Bridge. Smelting works were only in use for 10 years

  • Very impressive in the way the building is constructed, the rocks are stacked on top of each other without the use of mortar. When you get to the top of this structure, the view is quite impressive. The steps and paths may be narrow: use caution. The pay toilet is 1 US Dollar or if you are bold enough there is a divot on the western corner where you can relieve yourself behind some low lying walls.
  • We got an ATV for the the day, and we were able to see Aruba our way on our time. For $230 you can have a 2 seat ATV from 9-5 they drop off and pick up at your location. So worth it and fun I met so many people, talked to tourists from land, sea, and plane. A very welcoming Desert location.
  • Absolutely stunning views, highly recommend. Our tour guide Jay, Dee, & Jordy was very knowledgeable and fun!! We had an amazing time!!! Memories that will last a lifetime!!
  • This was a stop on our atv tours by abc tour company. Next to the ruins is a food truck and a very busy restroom which will cost you $1 to use. I would have to say that 98% of people were on a tour and as such, this stop is okay, however, in a perspective, there is no reason to plan a trip to visit this attraction if you are not part of a tour. It’s 15 minute stroll around the ruins at best, though ocean view is very scenic. You won’t find any gold nuggets, though if in search of one, you will have better luck in the downtown Oranjestad.
  • Nice attraction to visit… and hopefully the food truck is here when you stop by. Enjoy the site, the wonderful breeze coming off of the ocean, and don’t forget to check out the stacks of rocks (you’ll know what I’m talking about!)!
