Create an itinerary including Antilla Shipwreck
Explore Antilla Shipwreck, one of the largest shipwrecks in the Caribbean. The German cargo ship, SS Antilla, was deliberately sunk in Aruba in 1940, when Germany invaded Holland. The 121 m (400 ft) long wreck is still mostly intact and can be explored on a fascinating dive. With a snorkel, you can get an interesting view by hovering above the wreck, while scuba divers can observe the stern of the boat at 18 m (60 ft) below the water's surface. Observe the massive boat underwater, as hundreds of tropical fish dart between the colorful coral formations, sponges, and anemones that cover the wreck. Plan your visit to Antilla Shipwreck and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Palm - Eagle Beach itinerary planning tool.

  • Very accessible wreck with tons of sea life. Kids and wife loved the scuba and we all snorkeled twice.

  • This was probably the best part of my birthday trip. Me and my party literally took over the entire boat. lol We had a blast. The crew was so cool and down to earth. Jumping off the boat was my favorite part. I love swimming and it's just something about the water in Aruba that makes your body feel so good. This will definitely be another place I visit on my next trip to Aruba.
  • What a great dive! My son and myself had the best experience with our dive and seen amazing stuff.
  • It was a great adventure make sure you wear sunscreen. The captain & crew were beyond friendly eye candy & the drinks we had were HEAVY on the liquor.
  • I was able to visit this shipwreck as one of three stops on a snorkeling catamaran cruise. It's about 60 feet down, so from a snorkeling viewpoint, it's a bit hazy. We saw a few varieties of tropical fish near the site. I think for this site, scuba diving would be a better way to explore it. From what I could see as a snorkeler, it was OK.
  • Highly recommend a snorkel trip or a submarine trip to see. ($40-$75PP)
