  • This was a great experience all around. It doesn’t take a whole day if you don’t want it to, but is worth the trip. I was skeptical about going to an island off an island, but I’m glad I went. A...

  • Beach is great, there is friendly flamingos and other animals 🤗 Definitely worth to come here ☺️
  • We had such an amazing experience at the Renaissance Island. Since we weren’t guests at the resort, we booked a spa date on the island. To be honest, the massage wasn’t worth the price. The lady practically spent 90 minutes rubbing oil into my skin. The staff apologized and refunded me some money back, which made me feel better. Everything else on the island was really relaxing. The flamingos are kind of mean so keep your distance haha. But otherwise, the food & drinks on the island are great. Would definitely book a few nights at the Renaissance & come back again.
  • Great place to relax and take gorgeous pictures with amazing flamingos. You can come to the island only if you are staying at the Renaissance hotel. I heard there is an option to buy a daily pass for like $125 and they sell a very limited amount of them (like 25-30) per day on the fist come first serve basis early an the morning, but cannot confirm that as we stayed at the hotel. You can get to the island by the high speed boat shuttle from the hotel, and it's just 8-10 minutes ride. Each person must have his/her own room key as they scan them before boarding the shuttle. There are two separate beaches on the island. To the right of the dock you get to an adult only Flamingo Beach, where you can take beautiful pictures with pink flamingos, lay down in the hammocks above the water. There are plenty of palm trees for shade, and several cabanas you can rent for additional money. And to the left of the dock is Iguana Beach with very shallow waters where families with kids may relax. It's worth staying at the hotel just for the opportunity to get here.
  • Never been to a hotel that had its own private island. Amazing experience. The flamingos walking around are fun to watch and you can feed them. Come early morning to avoid a crowded beach and an instagram waiting queue at the flamingos. If you like snorkeling, go to the other side of the rocks that separate the inner sea from the Caribbean sea, lots of beautiful fish!
  • Great place, unique experience, great food, great drinks and great service, our waiter Suhey (Sugar) was polite and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
