Adelaide Botanic Garden
Walk from the Adelaide city center to discover the urban oasis that is the Adelaide Botanic Garden. Once here, visit the Palm House, a Victorian glasshouse containing Malagasy arid plant life. Enter the fragrant National Rose Trial Garden to see the different rose varieties that can grow in the local climate. Stand in the curvilinear-glass Bicentennial Conservatory and observe a delicate ecosystem including noisy pittas birds, spiders, and centipedes. Make sure you also stop by First Creek Wetland, a relatively recent addition, where you can learn about the importance of wetlands to urban environments. Take a look at our Adelaide trip itinerary maker site to schedule your visit to Adelaide Botanic Garden and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

Excellent gardens within walking distance of the CBD & Rundle Mall. We spent 1-2 hours wandering around. There are some very old plants & trees there, so the gardens are very mature and well...

Fantastic experience . Close to nature and one can witness the greatest flora of all times . So beautifully maintained and neat and clean. You can have a glimpse of many tropical birds. This has cafes and botanical centres dedicated to certain plants species

Great place to spend the day with your family having a picnic or just wondering around. Beautiful gardens beautiful grass spaces very chill in the middle of the city. Lots of filtered water and bathrooms around. One café with live music on Saturday. Easy ticket parking around, no free parking except on holidays.

It's a beautiful and serene place to visit. The wildlife is gorgeous and the plants and water features are stunning. It's very peaceful and calming and definitely worth a visit. I've been here so many times and I still adore it as much as I did the first time 😊

Visiting Adelaide put this beautiful park on your list to visit. I wanted to see the wisteria however wrong time of year. The park didn't disappoint. The little gardens and also the glass pavilion inside is magnificent. Do yourself a favour and visit anytime

Definitely worth a visit! Located near the city centre and easily accessible. Plenty of parking available nearby. Relaxing walks in natural scenery that will keep you busy for a while! The bicentennial conservatory has rainforest plants, there is also a Victorian glasshouse and other interesting things to see! Some wildlife is also present like ducks and many turtles in the lake! You can grab a drink and some food at the cafe.
