Rundle Mall
Situated in the heart of the city and considered South Australia's premier retail center, Rundle Mall is a pedestrian-only shopping strip featuring over 800 stores. The mall is home to many large Australian retailers and a number of smaller independent and chain stores. Several arcades and plazas, containing smaller boutiques and eateries, can also be accessed from this popular strip. Spend time shopping here or drop in to see some notable items of modern sculpture, such as a 4-m (13-ft) piece commonly referred to as "The Mall's Balls," created by the prominent visual artist Bert Flugelman. Using our custom trip planner, Adelaide attractions like Rundle Mall can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

A good experience. A good array of shops to choose from, and good atmosphere with many novelty displays on offer. Seemed to be quite vibrant in the holiday season.

One of most busy place for youth and everyone with a lot of shopping shops, cafeterias and restaurants. The place is on top list of recommended places to visit when you stay or travel to Adelaide. I love the street performances always have at Rundle. You can find (all) everything here. A place for you find the city center’s vibe and noisy sound around to make you feel more lively in life.

A walkable shopping street in the centre of Adelaide. Interesting sculptures and a variety of shops and services. Seems to have lots of seating and shading. There were also extra light installations and art decoration during the months of Illuminate Adelaide. Love this place.

A great spot to be at the heart of the CBD. Boasts of beautiful art pieces , live music and performances. A massive array of shopping outlets and food zones. Last but not the least , great area to enjoy the sun and the night lights.

It is extremely easy to locate the Mall and based on where you are staying it may make sense to take the free tram to get there. The Mall is a large shopping complex with lots of stores Rundle Mall is mostly a pedestrian Mall and is a great place to shop with places to eat and drink. There are the usual chain stores and many others. An interesting place to visit off Rundle Mall is the historic Adelaide Arcade and Gay's Arcade. Here you can appreciate the interesting architecture, more unusual shops and enjoy a snack while admiring the surroundings. You can pick up a self guided historic tour booklet which is well worth it if you are interested in history. We had a great time walking up and down the street on a busy Saturday. Lots to see, some good street performers. Streets were clean and shops inviting. Worth a visit.

Love the vibe of Rundle Mall, it's a great place for shopping. Plenty of memories as child here. So happy to visit with my daughter on holidays and show her where I loved to shop as a child.
