Mariners Lookout, Apollo Bay

Its a wonderful place located on Great ocean road where you can see the panoramic view of apollo bay and endless sea from the top. When i reach there it was little foggy which makes it more beautiful. Loved this place

Love this lookout that donated by private family! Thanks to their contribution so we all can enjoy such a nice hike and beautiful view. 10 mins hike from the parking area you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Apollo city and the whole costal area leading to Lorne. Enjoy so much of the view and the wind… the walk up greeted by beautiful grown trees and lush of green. Came here in winter time and believe spring time would be even beautiful as flower would be blossoming I think..!

Beautiful view of Apollo Bay from this lookout point. It’s just a short 5 min walk from the car parking. The walk is little steep climbing up but the view is incredible! Totally recommend to visit this place for the glorious sunsets 🌅

We enjoyed this short, easy walk - about 10 mins along a clear path in good condition - to the top of the hill which overlooks Apollo Bay. There is no viewing platform. The path ends as a grassed area is reached. From this grassy patch, there are panoramic views across the bay and beyond.

Marriner's Lookout offers great views over Apollo Bay (or at least it would've if we hadn't have come on a foggy day) and is well worth the short walk from the carpark. Fortunately, seeing as the weather was bad, there wasn't anyone else there but the view was still pretty decent. There were also quite a few sheep to see on the way up as a bonus!
