    We enjoyed this river loop walk in Bright adjacent to our beautiful accommodation at Merrimeet cottages. It’s a very picturesque walk, only took about an hour return, although you can extend it a lot....  more

    The Canyon walk is an easy hike between a couple of the bridges that cross the Ovens river. So there's river scenery, a bit of town scenery and some interesting historical sites as well.

    I went for nice long walk with the dog. It was peaceful and quiet without having that creepy feeling when walking on your own. The paths on the return loop was a bit overgrown, but that really added to the adventure. So fresh and green and the smell when you walk through the patch of wild mint is amazing.

    Absolutely wonderful walk along the beautiful Ovens River. Easy defined pathway, great for all ages, kids and dogs too. Some seating along the way. Able to just walk half way by crossing river at first bridge if you don't want to walk 4.9km loop.

    Was a really nice walk that took you through some unexpected spots. The walk starts quite pleasant in a park like environment and then you end up trekking up and down. Not hard though so suitable for anyone.

    Fabulous walk around the oven river. Took almost one and half an hour. Even kids had fun in exploring gold mining and nature.

    It is one of best places for morning walk around Bright. I have been on the track multiple times. The first part of track fits very well for family as it’s flat surface and easy to follow signs. After that, it is medium difficult level and there are great views.
