  • This has so much more in it than I ever imagined. Highly recommend. Work every dollar of the entry fee. The volunteers are lovely and knowledgeable. I loved this place and so did my kids. Lots of interactive things for the kids to enjoy while the adults explore. What a treasure to have this museum in our backyard.
  • This museum sits just off Leach Highway. You enter through the gates of the Air Force Memorial Estate and find your parking directly outside the first hangar on your right, near the replica Spitfire. Entry is around $10. There is a vast array of planes and all sorts of related paraphernalia to do with both military and civilian aviation. You can ask for a guide or just wander through yourself. I would recommend taking at least an hour. Very good for kids with an interest in planes and/or history.
  • Definitely a must visit for aircraft or history buffs. Lots of information and exhibits dating back to the start of aviation. Housed in 2 hangars and then some, it'll be a worthwhile couple of hours going through each exhibit. There's also a couple of simulators and cockpit/hatches for kids to go in to fiddle around with the controls. Plenty of photo worthy shots. Will be back!
  • Amazing place for flight enthusiasts. There is so much knowledge one can gain by visiting this museum, about war planes right from when it was made by wood, all the types of communication devices that were used. Great place for all age types. Place is well maintained and worth spending a whole day reading up about all the things used during World War.
  • Top place. It truly is a credit to the staff and volunteers, both current and the many years past. A huge amount of history. The Lancaster, Catalina, Spitty and recently added Tornado were stars for me. The collection of models it amazing. Quite a bit of interactive stuff and rolling videos etc. Well worth a visit.
