  • We walked to this beach and it was a bit difficult to get onto the beach as the access had eroded away. The beach is great and you get great sunset views from here

  • Beautiful place to take the kids. The water is crystal clear and not to rough-perfect for the kids. Take a picnic and spend the day there.

  • Beautiful little spot. Not as busy as some of the other beaches in the area. Good to spot whales from and lovely for a nice swim.

  • What’s a stunning view of the ocean and sunset. Loved this beach and the fact that the caravan park was next to it where we were staying was a bonus. The kids had a great time so did I, as I finally managed to take some amazing shots and tips lapse videos on the beach. Next time I will book out one of the cabins. It’s a dog friendly beach lots of people were just sitting there and enjoying the sunset and a smoke ;)
  • Seemingly endless flat beach for relaxed walking. The sand is so comfortable for barefoot that's it's almost addictive. Lots of people walk their dogs on the beach as well.
  • Wow busy town and beach. It is definatly a place you need to come to early in the morning to secure parking for the day. Stunning views. For the swimmers that like to be more relaxed there is a public pool near the beach. Easy enough to take a break in one of the local businesses near buy to grab a bite to eat. Lovely laid back town with the surfy vibe.
  • The off leash beach is so big your fur babies will definitely be worn out when they get home. We drove 2 hours from Brisbane and our dogs were dead to the world all the way home. Two happy fur brothers
  • Diverted to Byron on our way to Brisbane in search of Chris Hemsworth and Matt Damon. As a Sydney boy it's exactly what I imagined it would be. After stopping at the beach for some photos (cos we're tourists so it's a must) we continued on our road trip. Sadly with no encounter of Thor or Jason Bourne. Perhaps next time.
