Floreat Beach is in Western Australia, located off West Coast Highway, directly next to City Beach.

The beach's southern extremity is a groyne and continues north past a drain pipe until Hale Road dog beach. In front of the beach area near the groyne there is a carpark, boardwalk, grassed area, and cycle path. The groyne has a seasonally occurring sand-bar that forms a left breaking wave that is popular with bodyboarders and surfers.
The beach neighbours City Beach, which in season has surf life savers.

It is between this beach and City beach that undersea cables are positioned.
Floreat Beach is located in the foreshore area.

Clean, family beach. Best visited in the morning before the strong sea breeze comes at lunchtime and creates waves.

Beautiful beach with friendly life savers. Can have a bit of a shore dump but generally less size than scarborough or trigg and quieter than city beach with heaps more room and plenty of parking. Showers, playground and Cafe next to beach access. Dogs allowed further north at peasholm.

Mind astouning view and great place to hangout on this beach...spacious parking available...beautifully designed wooden stairs to walk through and reach the beach...perfect for spending time with your friends, collegues and family. Would love to go again and highly recommend for everyone

The best beach to visit along the Sunset Drive. Has a playground and BBQ area for families with kids. Beautiful view of the sunset i must say!
