Phillip Island Wildlife Park
Hand-feed and pat kangaroos and wallabies at Phillip Island Wildlife Park. There’s a boardwalk around the 24 hectares (60 acres) of wetlands where you can see over 100 species of Australian animals. Many of the animals roam the grounds freely. Meet the largest member of the kangaroo family, the red kangaroo. Bring your camera to snap photos of koalas at eye level. Admire colorful parrots, swans, and pelicans at day, and owls and Tawny Frogmouths at night. Put Phillip Island Wildlife Park and other Cowes attractions into our Cowes vacation website, and watch your holiday take shape.

Very impressed with the size of this park. Although the enclosures are very spread out, the park itself is enormous, with almost a third dedicated to a lake and trees that the kangaroos can relax...

This is SO worth finding an hour or so to go see and hand feed especially the kangaroos and emus! It's just a delightful place if you enjoy interacting with wildlife. I'm from the US so this was a very rare experience for me. Parking is easy, entrance fee with pellet food is very reasonable. I laughed so much. The emu are big! I was the brave one to put out a handful of feed and they're aggressive but won't hurt you. I loved it! Great separate area for bigger kids. Plenty of other areas for the little ones, too.

Fantastic day out at the Phillip island wildlife park. We had so much fun. It isn't expensive like the others, you pay to go in & you get two free bags of pellets to feed the kangaroos plus you can buy extras for 50 cents. Great place for a family day out. The little gift shop has some really good Aussie souvenirs that are very reasonably priced. The people there are lovely too.

Worth every penny spend. Lots of friendly wallabies, kangaroos, emus, ducks , birds roaming around freely. Kids really enjoyed feeding them. Recommended to take some drinks as we would need to walk through lots of trails in the park. Would suggest to pick any days without rains to have a better experience. Koalas were exceptionally active😀 Staff were friendly and suggested to us various options to make the visit worthwhile. Must visit for kids and family to enjoy close encounters with few of Australian animals and birds.

Have been to this park few times. Feeding to the kangaroos and wallabies is a great experience. You can buy extra food packets from the counter. Gift shop also have a good Australian souvenir collection, prices also affordable. Not happy about the conditions of caged animals specially the birds and reptiles. At least they need more space.

Had an awesome visit, could've spent many hours there. Large encolsures for animals seems to be full of natural enrichment and well kept. Roaming kangaroos and wallabies were super friendly, as were the geese and swans. Gift shops had souvenirs suited to all budgets. Highly recommend a visit if you're down that way, or even if your not :)
