A boutique producer, Flaxman Wines features a cellar door open on select days, with cheese platters available on the weekends, and private lunch bookings offered to small groups (6-12 people). This family-owned vineyard established in 2004 sits in the Eden Valley and includes parcels planted with Riesling, Shiraz, Grenache, Semillon, and Cabernet. • Had a lovely long lunch on Saturday. Maximum table of 10 makes for an intimate experience. Hosted by resident chef and winemaker, Col and his wife Fi we had wonderful food, matched with very generous pours of new release wines. Unassuming from the road, but well worth a visit.
  • Stunning family friendly experience! We came here after going to other ‘family friendly’ wineries, which had been trickier than expected. But Fiona went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, got out the toy box and hot chips, and the whole thing felt like sitting in a family villa in Italy. Delicious wines and super tasty home made gozleme, wonderful chatting and conversation. Can’t wait to visit again.
  • Do not miss an opportunity to lunch here! Our group of 9 booked a private 5 course lunch with matched wines and this was definitely a highlight of our time in the Barossa. Fi and Col were so warm and welcoming we felt like we were at a friends house for lunch - even better when those friends live in a stunning part of the world, set a fabulous table, can cook up a feast fit for a top restaurant and make excellent wine! The whole experience was exceptional and the icing on the cake was the worlds best winery dog, Gus. Flaxman Wines is just outside of the regular Barossa Valley wine trails but you will not be disappointed, this little gem is well worth the trip!
  • Little piece of paradise! Col and Fi have done a great job making this such a welcoming cellar door and their genuinely friendly and easy going. Great places to pop in, meet gus, and enjoy a couple's of relaxed hours
  • I've visited 25+ wineries in SA and this visit was the best yet. Tiny cellar door means plenty of time with the host, who is knowledgable and generous with the tasting. Excellent and reasonably priced food. The biggest thing however is the wine - every wine was at a fantastic standard, especially the riesling, cabernet sauvignon and sparkling shiraz.
