Fingal Head Lighthouse looks over the Pacific Ocean and plays an important role in assuring the safety of ships. You can climb up the lighthouse's wooden staircase to enjoy the view and see the inner workings of the building. Take a photo standing next to the mini lighthouse--your friends will be amazed at how small it is. Plan a trip to Fingal Head easily and quickly by telling Klarna Trips to suggest an itinerary.

Nice easy short walk. Cute little lighthouse. And great view of the ocean waves, and sometimes dolphins. Dog friendly. Other paths along the way lead to beaches.

I'm rating as maybe 3.5 stars as it possibly isn't worth a trip all the way out here unless you also plan to stay in the area or sit on the beach. The walk is all shaded which is nice, not too many...

Beautiful walk to the lighthouse with your dog on leash. The car park is quite small, so getting there early before peak times is recommended. The walk doesn't take too long, and you can reach the Causeway from there too. Plenty of shade on most of the walk from the trees until you reach the lighthouse. Snakes have been sighted here so caution is advised. Lovely views from the lighthouse and surrounding paths.

Very quiet area and not many people there so the carpark area is a bit small. Maybe can fit about 12 cars. It's about 550m to walk in to the lighthouse and will have to go through the natural landscape with trees adorning the pathway. There's a few flight of stairs before reaching the lighthouse. The pathway will open up to a breathtaking view of the sea. There's a few different area where swimmers can go down to the beach area. There's a small island opposite the lighthouse. I noticed a number of beach goers have picnic there.

Tis a fine lighthouse, some even finer columner bassalt and a cute little lighthouse. Beware since eastern brown snakes have been spotted in the area. The track isn’t disability friendly since it has quite a few stairs towards the end, but it’s a lovely short walk to some impressive views and lovely coastal trees. There’s also a shower for the surfers to wash themselves once they’re done with the ocean. There’s not a ton of parking at the start point so maybe don’t go during busy times if a close by parking spot is critical to you.

This is one of my all-time favourite locations for sunrise. The lighthouse is fully operational. It's not that tall, but it doesn't have to be due to its location on a cliffside. There are a few different places to park and access it. I parked at the end of Lighthouse Parade (this is a suburban area, so please be mindful of your noise and litter). You can access the beaches via the paths also. Pack breakfast and make a morning of it, as you'll want to look at these views for hours. Photographers! Pack your gear. Any time of day or night is the right time to visit.

Great little light house just a short walk from the carpark just to the south of the Lighthouse itself. The walk there is amazing with some timber boardwalk type steps at the end of the walk which are pretty easy to navigate for all ages. The lights and the coastal views on a clear day are spectacular, the local council appear to be building a series of paths and landscape steps around the Lighthouse at the moment so that will make the experience alot more enjoyable and easy to navigate when finish. Deffinately check it out if you are in the area
