We went there during the week. Ideal due to the lack of visitors around. We think that this park can be visited all year around. There are plenty of trails which can be chosen accordingly...

We went along the Park Rd and reached the parking area. Here there are the John Forrest Tavern, barbecue and picnic facilities and of course the toilets. The entrance fee is AUD 15 per car and pets...

We didn't access this park via the normal entry point but walked in from the roadside as we were simply after a bit of quiet scenery. We soon found several bush paths and saw a lot of wildlife...

We love taking our young sons here to explore, hike and play. You typically need to pay an entrance fee as it is a National Park, though you can pay for annual entrance fee. There is ample car parking, though it can get super packed! Toilet block, picnic benches and lots of areas to set up for a lunch. The trails are generally well sign posted. A great spot not too far out of Perth.

Great national park full of lovely views, nature and points of historical interest. Some nice spots to have a picnic and BBQ as well, although there are large areas of the park in the natural state with few or no amenities. Make sure you plan your visit as some of the best spots are only accessible by foot/bike and take a while to get to.

Wow! 😍 My first time here with my family and we loved it! Beautiful scenery and views and the area is massive! We are definitely planning to go back to see more of this place, we only covered around 6kms and I couldn't tell you which trail we did 😅

Had a quick hike and picnic on a sunday morning. The park have different levels of hike trail difficulties suited for all ages. We took one of the short trails and we enjoyed the scenery and beauty of nature. They have a number of picnic tables at the entrance. We also saw a group of kangaroos roaming around which was quite common in the place. Definitely worth a visit for relaxation, exercise and family bonding.

Fantastic location for a long or short walk, lots of parking and well marked out walking tracks. The tunnel was great and only a short 700m walk, fantastic views and only 10min drive from Midland shops! Will be back for the longer walks. Well worth doing.
