The Three Sisters
While visiting the Blue Mountains, be sure to snap a few photos of The Three Sisters. Meehni, Wimlah, and Gunnedoo--erosion-formed rock tower--stand at 922 m (3,024 ft), 918 m (3,011 ft), and 906 m (2,972 ft) above sea level, respectively. You can reach this geological spectacle by climbing 800 steel and stone steps from Echo Point to a wide viewing platform. Just 3 stones staying in the moutain. There's nothing to see more. I think we should check-in Blue Moutain but just use skyway's enough.

Very ordinary. Three small rocks emerged. The popularity is the outcome of lot of marketing it seems.

Best place to sight wide range of mountains. The three sisters are unique rocks with magnificent view of national park from up above. However today was freezing and would recommend warm clothes suitable for 2 to 5 degrees chill in winter.
-
Beautiful sight and accessible from the Katoomba station via a frequent bus. There are many platforms where you can take photos with the 3 sisters. Path is well-paved on the short 20 min stroll to the 3 sisters. There is a steeper path once this nice stroll ends if you choose to do a longer walk. Great place to bring both young and old, or enjoy a nice hike. No tickets required. There are bathrooms available at the viewing area.

Magical place to see, I have visited 2 times to this area and last time it was foggy so the gum trees looked so beautiful. But a pink sunset would be perfect here. Katoomba is the closest town to the Three Sisters and has many shops and cafes, I also know that you can catch the train from Sydney CBD to Katoomba, then walk or catch the bus to the to the mountains from there.
-
This walk is for everyone, it has levels of ease displayed at the start. But due to lots of rains in the area, most of this walk has been closed for safety reasons. It has a wheelchair and stroller accessible entrance, which leads to the cliff view lookout.
-
Beautiful landscape and scenery. Saw the sunrise and enjoyed the colors and the rock formations. There was some wind and quite cold but once the sun was up it was nice and warm
