  • Leeches attacked us within 10 mins of our bush walk like out of a horror movie! It had rained the day before but this was next level!! We are regular bush walkers so usually it takes a fair bit to...

  • Spectacular swimming hole. Great walks and beautiful wildlife. We saw hundreds of blur tiger butterflies, catfish and green tree frogs.

  • Was a lovely morning walk with the kids to the waterfalls after over eating at Kenilworth backery :), lots of people on the track, easy walk down and then back up.

  • Great place, nice waterfall with an incredible spot to sit and relax while feeling and hearing the falls. Really good for adults and children
  • Spectacular Great Walk, and quite a bit easier that Carnarvon. That said, there were some areas that had the sweat dripping. The walk had a lot more places that a novice could bail out if the walk proved too onerous, or in the event of an injury. There were also a lot of spots that made you want to stop and soak in the ambiance - lovely Rock pools, enormously tall forests, liana forests, eucalyptus forests (quite a lot of snakes). I highly recommend this 4 day walk for those just getting into hiking - easy terrain, good paths, close to Brisbane, some phone coverage.
  • Excellent bush walks escape the hurdles and bustle of life. You may be lucky enough to head the whip bird call echo through the palm trees or a scrub turkey wandering through the forest .... or a green tree snake hanging from a branch ..... go on get out of the house and explore a small part of this great country we call Australia.
  • Great serviced campgrounds, recently graded road infrastructure and beautiful walking trails this area is a must-visit. Campground facilities include toilets but no showers. There are also good quality fireplaces but you have to bring your own firewood. Best hikes artist cascades to Boolounba Falls and Summer Falls. If you can also fit in a visit to Kenilworth bluff and Mt Alan you would have covered the best areas.
  • Really winding NARROW road, where other users don't like to share. The scenery and the river crossing were beautiful. Shame none if the signs have the distance on them 😕
