I highly do not recommend visiting. The facilities were run down & dirty with limited wildlife present. Hand sanitisers were empty. Most exhibits were either closed or vacant when we visited. The...

This is no longer Macadamia Castle, it is now just Byron Bay Wildlife Park. We came here because it looked interesting, we didn't know what was here and thought maybe we would end up buying some Macadamia. It turns out it's a really delightful Wildlife Park. There aren't a lot of animals, but there is lots of interactivity which makes it worth it, and our 10 month old absolutely loves watching animals. Goat feeding was the most exciting bit, but also the kangaroos were good and the bird show, lots of other interesting animals to see too. We did buy some warm Macadamias too.
It replaced the previously known Macadamia Castle but it offers the same level of experience for the kids. They loved it! You can touch kangaroos, chicks, goat, guinea pigs and rabbits. Then there are live shows for reptiles and koalas. There is a dry and a wet playground and food is also available from the cafe. It's a must see if you have kids.
Always love it when you have decent food close to chargers around, and this is a good case of us being able to get some stretch of legs and stumbled in to a great joint while waiting for a quick charge. The castle has lot of animals and are great for kids. Food is great too but the chicken wings were a little salty. Price is good. Either way can’t go too wrong Note that kids pancakes are really just 2 pancakes with some source on it, so your kid can get bored quite quickly once ice cream is gone.
Loved this place so much! Lots of lovely cute animals, the staff were so friends and the cafe was really nice. They made a really nice coffee Definitely worth the visit, it was awesome that it was so interactive
There is the castle, cafe and (we mainly went for) the wildlife sanctuary. However, not many animals around Easter particularly on a rainy muddy day but all those we met are super cute!
