  • The parking fees are steep at $8. Even to have lunch at the cafe you need to pay the parking costs. The park has a lot of tracks and picnic grounds but it needs a lot of work to clean up the park...

  • Easy to drive to and park. The weir is where the two sides of the lane cove river connect/how you cross from one side to the other when you’re walking. There are a lot of areas to sit around here and also a playground area/ picnic area nearby
  • It was pretty amazing and a little sad to see the damage to the Weir so soon after the heavy rain and flooding that we had here. You can see from the photos that there must of been a significant amount of water running through. You can also see that it washed away some of the concrete slab and the obvious damage to the fencing that remains....
  • Nice to see it so green and lush with all the rain we've had this summer. The water dragons were out in force mid morning. A comfortable place to walk, plenty of hikers and a few runners about.
  • Great park. Much larger than I was expecting and really well maintained, there seem to be maintenance people around every corner, tidying up something or other. Will be back for sure.
  • Lane Cove is a lovely national Park, one of the rare ones within city with lots of parking space, so many walks, a river to walk along, so many birds and trees( lot of variety), nice Cafe for coffee or a lunch break, no need to worry about toilet breaks and ample place for kids to enjoy too. Suitable for all age groups as walks are easy to moderate and accessible easily from parking. Would definitely go back again.
