  • Wine tasting was $5 for 5 wines and there’s no option to taste individual wine before purchase. Beautiful winery grounds with clean toilets but didn’t stay long as the restaurant was fully booked out. Their bestseller Prosecco are probably cheaper to buy from Dan Murphy’s than the cellar door.
  • ORDERED: Tasting Menu ($75.00pp) Entree: 🍞 Sourdough with garden 'waste' oil 🍊 Garden radish with beetroot chickpea miso 🥓 Western plains capocollo with pickles and ferments 🧈 Fidelia potato hash with nduja and smoked cultured cream 🥬 Witloof with parmesan custard and pickled walnut Entrees round 2: 🐙 Baby Octopus with saffron potato, chorizo and romesco 🥔 Pumpkin with macademia, pumpkin seed and saltbush 🍄 Mushrooms with stracciatella, fermented chilli and pangrattato Mains: 🐮 Beef check with sugarloaf, goats curd, horseradish and apples 🐓 Milawa chicken, fennel, green olive, capters and pinenuts 🌵 Jerusalem artichoke, black garlic and rosemary REVIEW: Presentation of Brown Brothers was absolutely stunning. The colours were vibrant to add interest, and definitely made the dishes more enjoyable to eat. If it looks good... there's a high chance it'll taste good! It did hit the peak for the second entrees. Lots of combinations I don't usually get, and they've incorporated stracciatella in their menu which, in my opinion, is an understated refreshing flavour that is trending in Modern Australian cuisine at the moment. I've liked some of their interesting flavour combinations such as garden radish and the witloof which I've never had this way before!! Their mains were a little bit of a let down for me. They weren't as excited as the entrees, and they served sous vide chicken which is a personal hate of mine. My friends enjoyed it though for its perfect white meat, but I find all "boiled" chicken bland. Looking @u haianese chicken. Brown brothers focus on sustainability and reusing their ingredients. Love the stories of how they source local, and commit to minimal waste. If it's not too out of the way, Brown Browners with their friendly service (and warm heaters!) is decent.
  • I had the best experience tasting wine with Rose's help she was awesome. Lunch was amazing the flavours just burst in our mouth hat's off to head chef Brodi and his team plus our waitress Steph made the day better.
  • Had a nice tasting experience with $10 tasting deals. Not only that the restaurant opposite to the tasting venue has coffee for the non drinker’s. Place also offers clean toilets. Overall great experience.
  • Aahhh Browns Brothers! Our fourth visit and there are still new wines to taste. We booked a wine tasting for $15 each and had 45mins with Rose, our wine consultant, enjoying old favourites and many new ones with explanations of how they were made etc. The children had a lounge to play their Ipads and colour in. All in all, a great way to indulge in some wine tasting! They have something for every palate! The restaurant was fully booked for lunch, so book days in advance, but we had a coffee and the kids played in the enclosed playground. A relaxing afternoon!
