  • We did this just on sunset and the 360 degree views at that time of the day were superb. There are some steep parts on the walk up - it will be fine for anyone with moderate fitness

  • Well worth a visit. 15 - 20 minute uphill walk from the car park that gives you plenty of time to soak up the sights. The views from the top show the picturesque surroundings. Great activity to do with the dog too!
  • Great view, great for a walk or to sit at the top and watch the sunset over the mine. The road up has always been bad but it is almost non existent at the bottom now. Really needs some attention.
  • Easy to access to the up hill, better to take 4wd, the track quite steep.
  • Bit of a bumpy drive up to the lookout, but any 2wd car can do it. The view is spectacular, and make sure you go past the weather radar as the views that way are just as spectacular. Well worth the trip. Sundown is amazing.
  • Great views and a good walk. Road is a bit rough in patches but you do it easy in a 4wd, and you would do it in a high clearance 2wd if you took it carefully. Don't be discouraged by the track into the carpark, it's rough but negotiable.
