When one span of a rock bridge collapses, you're left with an arch. See the result of this process at London Bridge. This natural rock arch on the seaside of Port Campbell National Park was a bridge until 1990, when the portion connecting to land collapsed into the ocean. You can no longer walk out to the end of the bridge. Now you stand on the shore to admire the water-surrounded arch with its sheer cliffs plummeting to the sea. Morning provides the best light for photos because the sun is at your back from the lookout point. Sunset, though, also provides superb atmosphere for snapping pictures. Excellent views and multiple lookout spots which are all easy to access. The "bridge" side is beautiful but don't forget to look across to the other cliffs as well, all stunning. Loved it!

Amazing place to visit with the bridge able to be seen from the road or from the short walk to the various lookouts available to capture your moments.

Remember the song of ‘London Bridge is falling down’ then you’d definitely be right; London Bridge is a limestone archway just offshore that was once connected to the mainland. The part of the rock formation actually collapsed in January 1990, creating the sheer cliffside that you see today. Thankfully no one was hurt, but two tourists did get stranded on the remaining arch and had to be rescued by helicopter! The views from the London Bridge lookout over the Arch and the pristine beach below are beautiful and definitely one of our favourite places to see on the Great Ocean Road.

This is one of the last piece in 12 Apostles area but worth to visit to complete the trip of 12 Apostles and surrounds. Head to the upper western or lower eastern viewing platforms at London Bridge and take in sweeping views of the great Southern Ocean. Originally a natural archway and tunnel in an impressive offshore rock formation, London Bridge collapsed in 1990 and became a bridge without a middle. Before the collapse, visitors to the site were able to walk across 'the eastern bridge' that stretched across to the mainland. Disabled access available and plenty of Car Parking spaces available.

A good stop driving at great ocean road. Plenty of parking lots, a very short walk to the lookout. We visited in winter month of August, not crowded, which gives us nice spaces for photos.

Beautiful place!!! There are 3 view points. Each view point is relatively close to each others. Easy walk. Very windy and cold so bring some jacket.

Personally one of my favourite lookouts along the great ocean road. Watching and listening to the waves while admiring the view is just so calming and therapeutic! Come closer to sunset to experience the magnificence of golden hour.
