  • Very well presented museum depicting the early life of the district. Gave our grandchildren an insight into things from our childhood.

  • A great way to step back in time to see how our great grandparents lived. This is a well curated collection of memorabilia including farm machinery, horse buggies, old pre-electric sewing machines, washing machines and kids toys. For the very fair price of $5 for Adults you can wander around easily for a couple of hours looking at all the beautifully restored items and collections of things like telephones. Even has a "thunder box" (outdoor toilet) complete with redneck spider.
  • A fantastic place to take school children on an excursion that is also entertaining for the teachers and other adults. The place is run by volunteers and they do a marvelous job. Thank you for a day to remember and something for the children to talk about all term long!
  • In my opinion there is not a lot to see, as soon has we walked through the gate we were asked "do you want to buy tickets"? We asked how big the place was because it did not seem much. We were told that " Yeah there is loads to see" it was only $5 dollars each but we were around the place in 30 minutes and out. Sorry expected more.....
  • A must visit in Samford. Absolutely amazing place to visit. The museum is run by volunteers who give up their time to ensure a memorable visit. They are more than happy to share their stories and passion about how Samford and the surrounding areas used to be. So many items on displays, allow at least half a day for the visit you wont be disappointed.
  • I was pretty surprised myself how much stuff of history there Looking around I was about two hours or could be more but it’s a fascinating look of history it should be very proud our forefathers by small parcel of land I was quite surprise so much history on the block when I was there there’s a school Scotian so I recommend anyone who’s got the History bug Across the road there’s a coffee shop there’s another one you can go explore
