MANIAX Axe Throwing - St Peters, Sydney

A very enjoyable and unique experience. I would recommend coming with a group of friends, as the host makes it fun and competitive. We were lucky enough to get Christian on the day who definitely made the experience memorable! The decor is mega cool. I’d love to come here just for a drink in the future.

Maniax is a place for you to channel your inner Viking and have a bit of fun. The staff are great hosts, briefing you, demonstrating how to chuck an axe and re collect and creating good atmosphere for the crowd. We had a good little competition going and recommend this for your next event. It’s superb fun. The new Marrickville location has a Viking themed bar with beers and cocktails to enjoy after your axe throwing session. Bloody good fun! Nothing like axe throwing to channel excess aggression and rage! The place is aptly Viking themed with very manly antlers, weaponry and furs on display. The experience was great - Scott, our game master, was an excellent (if harsh) teacher and heckled us for our failures/cowardice when appropriate. The axes are legit, hefty beasts that require equal amounts of fear and respect. Would definitely recommend for a unique party, team building, or to live out your Viking dreams!

Great place to learn a new skill! Because you never know when you need to throw an axe at someone… Large divided play area with rules to keep everyone safe. The moderators are funny and very skilled themselves. Cute Viking decor including a throne you can pose on! A well stocked drink bar. Snacks and food also available to order (though we didn’t try) and nice seating areas for eating. Try it for fun, for team building or as a new hobby. Oh yeah, there’s also plenty of parking outside which is a big plus in the inner city.
