We rarely go to museums, because they are often boring, but we spent a full 2 hours at this one and ran out of time. I have never been to one so organized, clean and tidy. A very comprehensive museum.... more

The Stansbury Museum has something for everyone. It's housed in the old school house and a huge shed. The exhibits cover a very wide range from 1800s daily life, maritime and fishing, agricultural equipment .... all sorts of stuff. There's a "treasure hunt" for kids with printed sheets provided that make searching for items in the museum even more interesting. This museum deserves to be more well known. I've visited museums in capital cities that aren't as good as this one.
