The Nobbies Centre
A modern, glass-fronted facility overlooking a rocky, wave-bashed promontory, The Nobbies Centre affords you the chance to discover the local landscape and wildlife with an educational slant. A series of boardwalks constructed alongside the center allow easy access to Seal Rocks, The Nobbies, and The Blowhole, attractions that together serve as home to Australia’s largest colony of fur seals. Arrange to visit The Nobbies Centre and other attractions in Summerlands using our Summerlands trip planner.

Views from the boardwalk of the Turquoise water are amazing. The natural Cave formation in the Ocean was marvelous and photo-worthy. And all of this was absolutely free

Beautiful scenery. Cold and strong wind. Its one of the best place to see the unimpeded view of ocean. Its a walk you can enjoy on wooded boardwalk looking at the ocean, waves, sky, flying birds, occasional seal, shrubs, man made penguin nests. It’s a power spot!

Do come during sunset where you can have an awesome view of the sea and setting sun, and spend about 30 minutes or so along the boardwalk. There are some interesting information about the place, where you can spend about 45 mins or so in there. Breeze is strong and do bring along a windbreaker even during summer. You can see lots of birds and wildlife. Encouraged to purchase ticket beforehand, online and can consider purchasing the multi attraction tickets should you be going to the penguin parade etc. Tip: plan your trip such that you arrive here before taking the small road to penguin parade which starts after sunset. That small less used road gives you another awesome scenic drive!

Great views, especially at sunset. The boardwalk is excellent and you can see a few penguins too. Can be crowded but not to the point of being uncomfortably so. A quick heads up that you can’t drive in any later than an hour before sunset but once you’re in you can stay as long as you want.

This is a beautiful place for walking around and exploring the volcanic rocks around the bay. It is a very picturesque location. If you ever visit during winter, prepare for the wind and the cold. It can get packed during the weekend, so be patient when trying to find parking. Drive slow around the area as there are a lot of goose families that walk around.
