  • Fantastic museum, loved the fact they all volunteers here are ex sea fares and go through all the details explaining everything. The sail ship which is still sea worthy was just amazing. The museum too was amazing... All marine/maritime facts. Plus the photo exhibition.. must go if you love ships
  • A great museum that I have taken my kids to a number of times over the years. Has awesome number of ships you can get on and explore. There’s a few old time large sail ships, a modern(ish) naval destroyer and even a submarine you can board too. The actual inside of the museum shows the history of Australian maritime over the years. There are plenty of staff around to help and to inform. It is a great day out with kids, young and old!
  • Superb Maritime Museum that allows you to explore an entire Navy vessel, a submarine and even an entire replica of Captain Cooks legendary ship called the Endeavour. Even if you don't have much interest in ships, you'll definitely learn something new about them. I highly recommend a visit. The included museum is interesting as well and definitely worth a visit as well.
  • Located on the Casino side of our beautiful Sydney Darling Harbour, I highly recommend a visit at this museum. The staff and volunteers are very kind, funny and knowledgeable. I came a bit too late (1 hour before the museum closed) but the kind staff put my name in the “Blue Book” so we can come back for free another time. Even with only 1 hour, I manage to see the submarine and destroyer and the Wildlife Photographer of the year exhibition. Love the on-going Photography exhibition and sculpture here. The highlight for me was seeing the submarine and the destroyer! I will definitely come back soon!
  • Amazing experience! You can go on a real military boat and submarine, and other types of boats, very very interesting. And there is also a gallery where you can see beautiful photos and other things. Very big place, you definitely need minimum 2 hours.
