Create an itinerary including Chinatown
Sydney's Chinatown is the oldest and largest Chinatown in Australia. Some top-tier Chinese chefs moved to Sydney in the 1990s, making this district world-famous for its Asian cuisine. There are Asian shops and open-air markets selling everything from traditional Chinese medicinal herbs to jewelry, meat, fish, flowers, vegetables, books, electronics, and inexpensive souvenirs. Several movie theaters offer daily screenings of documentary and feature films produced in Asia. Asian art galleries, restaurants, karaoke bars, shopping malls, and small boutiques attract visitors from around the world. While you can visit the area on your own, there is so much to see here, many tourists opt to join an official tour. • You have to go and see it, but don't expect fair prices. It was expensive and busy, homeless littering the streets and crowds of people rushing down.

  • Delightful mix of restaurants, predominately Chinese, Japanese and Indonesia eateries but also a healthy bustling market place too.

  • Very now very Chinatown, Sydney 🥰 I feel like I’m really in China with all these pandemic 😷issues and concern so I guess it’s the 2nd best thing 😜lots of eateries obviously more Chinese restaurants so cool and highly recommended very close to all amenities, the harbour, Events cinemas and much much more to explores 🥳
  • Emperor's puffs and the Mangoade drink is everything that's right with the world. The Friday night market is amazing! Fried food on the road makes it feel kinda like home.
  • We are so lucky to be able to visit Chinatown regularly and try all the amazing places to eat and cuisines. Friday nights Street markets are always a treat and Paddy's markets are also located within the area with an outlet shopping centre above. So many great things to do
  • The hustle and bustle of Sydney is seen here. There are live performances by artists, streets have a lot of shoppers and tourists, it's a lively place to visit anyday. The Asian food restaurants and the shops are clustered together to give a good experience to the traveller.
  • Fantastic Chinatown, every shop open and busy. People super friendly and great service in the whole area. The usual service in Australia for those who are visiting is kind of like being mugged and then paying for it. So give this place a shot and have a fantastic day.
