Create an itinerary including Gap Park
Warm yellow-colored sheer cliffs and crashing waves dominate the view from Gap Park. Walk along the scenic cliff top and enjoy the views of Tasman Sea and ships leaving Sydney Harbour. Notice the water dragons hiding among the granite rocks and Pacific Gulls, which use the area as nesting site. Go for a fish meal at a local restaurant, perhaps even one were Alfred Hitchcock was a patron during his visit in 1960s. • Such a great spot to go for a walk and enjoy views anytime of day. It is particularly enjoyable in the evening or during sunset. I highly recommend this place. It's not just for the tourists. πŸ§¨πŸ˜‹πŸ‘
  • Beautiful view. The sandstone cliffs are amazing. Sad that it's a place where people who have depression issues come to jump off the cliffs. They do have lots of security cameras and also direct phone lines for help at the location.
  • Great spot with a scenic view of the Ocean along with the city...best during πŸŒ… and sunset πŸŒ‡
  • It is a MUST SEE. I've got breathless at all moments with so gorgeous views. You can feel the life beating you At the end of the day you can enjoy a beautiful sunset
  • Lovely views, along a gorgeous bit of coastline. My favourite pictures are actually from the Gap lookout, just slightly further north.
