If you are heading towards Mount Beauty from Yackandandah direction, this lookout is on the left hand side of the road making it really easy to pull into. There is room for a handful of cars here...

After a long drive of over 3 hours , through thick fog and a little rain I was just wanting to stare at something different, than just the road in front of me .As I criused up the Kiewa Highway just passed Tawonga the world opened up for me, a break in the fog and there in front of me was the Mount Bogong lookout and the beautiful Kiewa Valley. Watching over this magnificent Valley was the majestic Mt Bogong . My spirits lifted as I parked the car and sat and took in this magnificent marvel of nature. If you are heading towards Mount Beauty I would truly recommend a stop at the Mount Bogong Lookout, it will definately make your day.
