Hike around the crater of Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve, an inactive volcano about 4 km (2.5 mi) wide and 80 m (262 ft) high. Thanks to a revegetation project beginning in the 1960s, the crater today offer lush plant life that provides food and shelter for diverse wildlife. As you explore the area, keep an eye out for koalas, emus, kangaroos, sugar gliders, and many species of water birds, including black swans. Guided tours are available on request. Make sure you also stop by the Worn Gundidj Visitor Centre to see locally produced Aboriginal crafts. We have enjoyed the wild life during the walk we had:emu, koalas. The place is quite and peaceful but the visitor center is closed and there isn't enough information.

I have long loved this place with its wildlife, vegetation and the ancient caldera. The Emus may snatch your sandwich, but that is just part of the experience. There are also cultural tours...

Visitor centre closed, despite web site saying open so disappointing that no access to the information about the place and gift shop now located in Warrnambool, 11 km away

Loved it. Felt like going into a completely different world. The trek up to the volcano was awesome, moderate climb but doable. Took my wife and 7 yr old boy who both managed fine. Great day out, lots of wildlife to see, saw emus, wallabies, kangaroos, koalas amongst others.

What a wonderful place. A large visitor centre with good toilets. Saw a number of koalas and wallabies but the emus were the highlight for me. There was one grazing quietly but on one of the walks, an emu came out of the bushes and ran close by me! Well defined tracks for walking and possibly cycling. The lookout gave a clear indication of the volcano.

This is definitely a little piece of heaven! We had lunch there, and then went for a walk along one of the designated tracks and saw plenty of wildlife! Such a tranquil place! It's a pity the information centre is closing to the general public as the giftware, mementos and artwork were incredible! So pleased I got to see it, and experience all it had to offer. Highly, highly recommend visiting here, and if you ever have the opportunity to go into the centre, just do it, you won't be disappointed.

Love this place. The staff at the visitor centre are super friendly and go above and beyond to provide information and help. They spent about 20 minutes or more providing the history and details of the location. We also did the Lave tongue short walk where we saw Emus walking right next to us. We also saw a few koala's. The place is lush green with scenic views. Entry is free, but I think they have some paid tours if you're interested Definitely going back

Flat walks. Steeper walk up hill. All 4 walks about 30 mins each. Pick one or take all. They are all unique. We saw 5 koalas 🐨 and 1 snake 🐍 Perfect day
