  • Found 3 koalas… but no one at the park entry let us know the crystal cave was closed! If at the entry we were informed about it then we would have made a u-turn and not paid the fee to go in.

  • Lovely National park with lots of kangaroos 🦘 but we only saw one koala. We just stopped here for half an hour as we were on a coach heading out to the pinnacles. Would love to have spent more time.....  more

  • One of the northern suburbs best attractions. Scenery is amazing, lots of walks, plenty of fun for all ages. When you want to take your kids away from screens, this a great day out. The yanchep inn is quality food and family friendly. There are some birds around when you eat but they aren't very aggressive species, have never had a chip stolen but they do come up and "beg" probably because once upon a time they were fed by visitors. You can also camp which is pretty well equipped and good for young families wanting to do a trial run with their first time campers. September is a great time if you want to see a ton of wild flowers too.
  • My favourite National Park - not just in Australia, but the entire world. Where else can you go that is as serene, safe and undeniably beautiful. If you're thirsty after walking one of the trails around the stunning lake, they have the Yanchep Tavern, where not only can you get a drink to quench your thirst, but they have food so good it'll genuinely surprise you. They have a cave which can be booked as a wedding venue! It's gorgeous inside and makes for such a unique experience! Wild kangaroos roam the park and not only that, they have a gated/fenced walkway amongst the trees where you can see some of the Koalas they're rehabilitating! Before we purchased the annual pass - which allows you access into all National Parks within Australia for 365 days - we visited Yanchep National Park four days in a row! By the fourth day the attendant at the entrance suggested we get the annual pass because we couldn't stop raving about how much we loved it here! Even if you don't want to get a bite to eat at the Tavern, they have gazebos you can bring a group or just yourself and make full use of the outdoor BBQ's dotted around the park and have seating to enjoy. You can bring a picnic & a blanket and enjoy the view from the riverbank next to the water. If you're just having a stroll around the park and want to sit for a breather, there's benches to just sit and relax and take a second to breathe. Yanchep National Park is just the full package.
  • Facilities are second to none, clean, new. Camp sites very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our camping trip here. Must do for a small get away without driving 6+hrs. Plus the trail walk in the nation park are amazing
  • Full of local West Aussie wildlife, you won't regret your visit to Yanchep National Park, only 1 hour from Perth! From your first moment talking to the friendly park staff, it's a relaxing and enjoyable family experience, suitable for tourists and locals alike. Cockatoos, kangaroos, koalas, magpies, wrens, bobtail... the list if wildlife goes on. And with attractions like Crystal Cave, the Yanchep Inn, helicopter rides, treetop adventures, camping and walk trails, you will be spoilt for choice for sure. Pack some lunch for a picnic - or pack the tent/camper/caravan and get a slice of this amazing place. You won't regret it; you'll only regret leaving!
  • Great place to visit after the pinnacles. Entry includes both places. Koalas were easy to see along with the kangaroos all around the park. Cave was closed when we got there but no issues.
