The Gem Gallery, Yungaburra

Stopped in on a drive up to Cairns. Family run business with lovely helpful owners and their two very cute doggies! I got a custom made (right there and then) freshwater pearl necklace and matching earrings for a very very reasonable price. There was such a level of detail in putting together my jewellery. I absolutely love my piece - a beautiful memento of my holiday that I am sure to wear every day. Thank you so much! Highly recommend a drop in to see their range of jewellery.

I visited The Gem Gallery Yungaburra about 10 years ago and was welcomed by the Owner Nick who explained the process of turning raw opal into fine jewellery. We were impressed with the quality of products and purchased several beautiful items. I have today, November 8 2022 called Nick as I plan to purchase an opal, as a gift for a friend in Indonesia. Nick has offered various options and will send photos of pieces we have discussed over the phone. The item that I select and pay for can be couriered to me at Brisbane within 48 hrs. The experience i had all those years ago visiting Nick's business has led me back, driven by the knowledge of the business owner's integrity and product quality. Five Stars - Fully Warranted

A must see place in Yungaburra. They sell jewelry, precious stones and have a great display. I got them to make a custom engagement ring for me and it was perfection, from design to delivery, thank you so much 😃👌

Amazing staff, we went in to have a little look around, ended up getting a lesson in Pearls and Opals and buying some lovely hand crafted bracelets. And beautiful dogs ♥️♥️

Absolutely awesome shop. Not where you take children for rocks. The owners are extremely knowledgeable and are keen to share their stories about the opal mines.
