    Winding up quite a steep hill is this well maintained forrest track. The outlook is pretty especially from the top of the wooden tower. You are not pressured by the restaurant to purchase anything...

    Have used the parking lot to climb to the Siriuskogelhütte. If you only go up and down for the view, you can get by with 1 hour of free parking. Follow the signpost, even if you think it only leads to the construction site, the path also leads past it.

    Large gravel parking lot also suitable for mobile homes. Daily rate €4, you can also park here for several weeks. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city center, a pizzeria is right on the corner (closed on Mondays), a bakery a few steps away (open daily until 12 p.m.), a supermarket (Spar) a few meters in the other direction. There are no disposal or supply options for mobile homes.

    Why is there a charge for parking? There are always lots of construction vehicles and craftsmen's buses around, which probably don't throw in 4€, the whole area is totally scruffy and unkempt, plus no shade, in summer the cars heat up like an oven. The only positive: there is always something free 😂 PS: This review refers solely to the parking lot, the Gasthaus Siriuskogel is top class!
