One of the most scenic road passes in Europe. Worth to cross or drive only to the highest point with a tunnel. Road is easy to drive, not too step and the toll gate is well organized on a flat section. Actualy the most scenic part is the side road going to Franz Josef Hohe park house and restaurant. From there you can admire the Grossglockner and the shrinking glacier. Parking is free of charge.

Even though the wifey didn’t like it at all, it was a great experience and I loved the road. Easy drive and really scenic. Road is clearly labeled and has many rest stops along the way

We went here on our honeymoon. It was an unforgettable journey. It is definitely advised to use a car which is stronger than a 1.6 ford focus. We had some problem with the brakes on the descent (they were too hot and smoking) It costs 38 eur return. If you have the chance, go!
