  • Went as was included in the innsbruck card. Was there about 30 minutes hardly seen any animals. Was all up hills, very poor.

  • Not too much to say. We stop here on our way down from the top of the mountain. Definitely an attraction for a family, but as a couple is was ok. Nothing wrong with it just ok.

  • Sadly, as it was very hot, animals were sheltering from the heat, so had limited views . the zoo is built on the hillside so quite tiring going from one level to next with minimal flat areas.

  • We had an amazing time at the alpine zoo. We saw almost all of the animals that are in the exhibits, including baby bobcats. We had a toddler in a stroller and while the trails are fairly steep, it was still very manageable. The zoo is well worth the visit and all of the animals seem healthy and happy in their exhibits.
  • Great for all ages. 100m from top to bottom but no steps. Really nice layout. I wish the song birds had a bit more space. Worth the trip! The mergansers were NOT part of the exhibit but were there!
  • The Zoo is overrated, and was a let down. There are ample parking facilities, but take the first one... If the upper ones are full, it's tough to get back down. We waited in the hot sun in queue to buy tickets - it would have been nice to have a covered shelter there. The signs guiding one around the zoo were faded, and confusing. Some areas of the zoo were closed for repairs, and some animals like the wolves and bears were missing. Yes, it's common to have animals hiding sometimes, but having exhibits open with no animals in them is disappointing. The exhibit with vultures and other raptors, though, was awe inspiring, and the aquarium was fascinating. There are many play areas for small kids, and information booths for the others. My son tried the Spaghetti Bolognese at the Cafe and gave up after a few bites. Couldn't blame him - it tastes like boiled cardboard. In summary, the zoo has its highs and lows, but unfortunately, the lows predominate. I would recommend that the zoo lower the price of admission until they fix up the place. At the moment, it's not worth the price.
  • Lovely zoo which shows the typical wild life from Austria. I like the fact that you can get quite close to the animals. For kids it's also very nice ,you have a nice playground as well
  • Nice zoo with local animals. Sadly no feedings on the Saturday we went. We could see most animals. The infosigns could have more written information about the animals. The park is set on a hill, easy for adults to walk through tho. The restaurant is expensive as usual for zoo restaurants.
