The secularised former church of a Dominican monastery has suffered a lot in the past but whatever survived of this great work of art has been restored and provides some insight into the way those monks built a huge church in the 13th and 14th century. It's all bare stone now, sturdy columns, soaring walls and wide vaults, without any furnishings - just the architecture. Make sure to have a good guide, human or printed, to explain everything to you.

This time there is a grandiose work by Kupelwieser to admire. A ship not to be missed. Beyond that, the Dominican Church is always worth a visit and always has great exhibitions in its backpack. Right next to it you will find the Museum Krems. So it can be optimally combined.

The installation by Hans Kupelwieser is really worth seeing. The cross ribs of the ceiling are "mirrored" on the floor of the nave. Worth seeing.
