As the city grew in importance during the medieval period, the importance of the main plaza also increased, and eventually saw the construction of the town hall during the early 1500s. The Linz main square is the central old town of the city located on Hauptplatz having tran station where you can easily can train almost to each and every part of the city. Here is a station of tourist train named “Linz City Express” where you can take a say trip to visit the famous tourist spots with a single ticket. Here you can also find a flea market on every Saturday.

Hmm, I have seen larger and nicer ones. Currently there are some constructions ongoing in the square and hence it is occupied by Cars, Trucks and so on and does not look so good.
