A must for every railway enthusiast with lots of interesting information about the Rhine and flood protection for the Rhine Valley. The drive from Lustenau to Widnau in Switzerland was really fantastic.

The Damoflok is something special, gladly again, my tip would be to choose a tour that might take 1 hour with small children, our 3 year old liked it, but almost 2 hours was almost too much, exciting at the beginning and rather tired towards the end, otherwise very fine

children's birthday We celebrated our children's birthday party in Rhein-Schauen and I really recommend it! First we looked at the museums, then we took the train towards Widnau to a great playground. There we were specially let out - we could let off steam and then picked us up again. At the end there were sausages with bread and juice in the bistro, which was beautifully decorated especially for us. Everything was very uncomplicated and the staff was very, very friendly and courteous. Gladly again everyone was enthusiastic!
