  • What makes this museum interesting is the story behind its construction and the owner, and how everything came together to make it possible. You can get all this detail with a guided tour. You do have to be interested in funky, off beat 'art' pieces as there are few 'classic' canvas paintings and mostly unique one-of-a-kind objects. If you're into modern art objects and impressively constructed spacious galleries you'll likely enjoy the ~2 hour experience. The outdoor exhibition is also worth the time. There is no curator the way most museums have but the guide we had was very knowledgeable and had many stories and entertaining anecdotes to tell along the way. The museum is out of the way and requires a country drive to reach it from one of the cities in the province of Carinthia. It's located very near the Slovenian border. Pick a sunny day to stroll the grounds. The day I was there we were a large group (special arrangements) and we were also able to attend a recital put on by 3 violinists and a cellist, although you'll need to check if anything like this is on when you plan to go.
  • Interesting collection of arts. I really enjoyed the above the ground area that reminds me of the landscape from the teletubbies show.
  • Really nice place and you can see alot there.
  • Fantastic and impressive.
  • The exhibition was interesting, and the architecture of the museum was splendid. Unfortunately there was no student discount available, which made the entrance fee a bit too high for a student.
