Edelweiss Tours, Salzburg

My husband & I recently enjoyed a full day tour to Hallstatt with Edelweiss Tours. Hallstatt is breathtaking & absolutely beautiful!! Our tour guide was Shiva & he was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable about the area & has taken tours all throughout Europe. Lots of fun to have conversation with. Their minivan was superior & very clean plus comfortable to travel in. I highly recommend this company to anyone interested in small groups or private tours. You won't be disappointed!

Edelweiss Tours has been very helpful from the start. Because I was travelling solo, and the tour required a minimum of 3 people, the agency was responsive in the emails and kept me updated closer the date. Fortunately, within 48hrs of the day tour, the agency managed to secure 3 people for the tour. Shiva was the tour guide, very approachable, knowledgeable and well-travelled. The minivan was also big and clean. His driving was safe and of good speed. Because someone in my tour liked to drink beer, Shiva suggested dropping us at Augustiner Brewery in Salburg at the end of the tour - which ended the day on a perfect note. Hallstatt was as beautiful as described, and the salt mine tour was actually fun and enjoyable in my opinion :) Book early with Edelweiss Tours if you are planning to explore Hallstatt and surroundings from Salzburg.

My partner and I got engaged yesterday so today's trip to Lakes and Hallstatt is almost like a pre-honeymoon to us. Knowing that the public transport to Hallstatt is difficult, I looked through many daily tour websites. The arrangement of visiting st wolfgang and other lakes plus Hallstatt within 9 hours is exactly what we wanted and cannot be found elsewhere. Small group arrangement was a positive surprise. Our tour guide Sivakumar is knowledgeable, cheerful and thoughtful - set a new standard to tour guide (over qualified might not be accurate description but beyond what we expected). What a wonderful day after our engagement. We feel very lucky that we chose Edelweiss and have Sivakumar as our guide for the day. Cannot recommend more.
