  • Visited in mid-February 2023. Admission was free with my Salzburg Card. Audio guides are available for no additional fee. Several interactive displays throughout the museum. Definitely worth visiting.

  • Prefered the birthplace museum a few streets away. This one is easily done in 30 minutes tops. Minimal artifacts. Had it not been for my Salzburg Card we would have likely skipped it.

  • Very well managed museum. I liked the fact that the curators did not overwhelm us with too much information and kept it an adequately manageable experience for music lovers and practitioners alike. To be able to see the viola and the piano that the great maestro played was an experience of a lifetime!
  • It is always nice to walk in the footsteps of giants like the Mozart family. The place provided a very good audio book that walks you through the house and there is alot of history to be found there. Overall its a nice place to visit once in your life, even though it feels kinda empty and would have been nicer if it had more pieces that made it feel like a home and shows how they lived their life, especially for the price.
  • Mozart Residence gives a lot of information about the place where Mozart lived and have few things from that time like the Kitchen Setup, violin and a lot of other things. This place is included with Salzburg Card too.
  • A wonderful place. U can enjoy the whole collection of Mozart’s production with great quality, explore more about his life as well. Perfect experience
  • An impressive and interactive, joyful exhibition in the house of one of the greatest componist of all time. Give it a try, your ticket price includes an audio guide.
