Museum Tauernbahn, Schwarzach im Pongau

Amazing value for money. Great for train /steam buffs. Suggest you go during week as Sat is very busy!

Nice small museum with real trains and great modelbahn. Check entrance time on internet, it is open only like 2-3 times/week

A special place for children, the train models have over 60 sets of functions, even barking dogs, forest fires, etc., very beautiful! There is also a school locomotive in the hangar, which perfectly imitates walking on the tracks around, children can really learn to drive a locomotive, it is very interesting for them. All the museum staff is special! Congratulations and thank you again for the little train ride through your beautiful city! Un loc deosebit pentru copii,machetele de trenulete au peste 60 garnituri functionale,chiar si caini ce latra,incendii de vegetatie,etc,foarte frumos! Exista si o locomotiva școală in hangar ce imita perfect mersul pe sinele din zona,copii pot invata in mod real sa conduca o locomotiva,este foarte interesant pt ei.Tot personalul muzeului este deosebit ! Felicitari si multumim inca o data si pentru plimbarea cu micul trenulet prin frumosul dumneavoastra oras!

Real good place! First there were details about the creation of the Tauernbahn. Then we came to 2 locomotives and a wagon. An employee explained everything about it (how does the engine work? How do the circuits work at the station? Etc.) There was a large room on the 1st floor with hundreds of model trains. I can only recommend the museum. Awesome place!
