You can see this chapel from the road and always impressed me. But although it is situated on a great spot the chapel is not so special from the inside. But I am still glad I finally visited once.

Nice 20 min stroll up from Romantic Traunkirchen and its main baroque church. Even some celtic remains to be found as the ara was very rich in very ancient times from salt trading

Guidebooks🗺 all rave about Hallstat - an idyllic little town approximately 40-minute drive from Traunkirchen🇦🇹. Unfortunately, with the scenic location comes the usual downside: hordes of tourist👨‍👩‍👧‍👦aimlessly wandering the narrow streets with their smart phones🤳. Traunkirchen certainly wins out on the quiet beauty🏞. Traunsee really met with our approval during our short stay at Landhotel Post.👍
