Stroll the promenades of a grand urban park at Parc du Cinquantenaire, home of the Arc du Cinquantenaire. The 19th century saw the addition of the triumphal arch for Belgium's 50th anniversary as an independent nation. Three museums occupy the northern part of the park: the Royal Military Museum, Autoworld, and the Cinquantenaire Museum. A 19th-century monument called the Temple of Human Passions and a Great Mosque take up the northwest corner of the park. The buildings at the corners of the park complement the arch's neoclassical grandeur with their domes and rotundas, and the center is dominated by an esplanade where you can walk through the landscaped greenery. • Came here to see a band play on a weekend night. It was beautiful. Nice place to hang out and great for kids.

  • Beautiful and large park with many side attractions and fountains. Good place to have a picnic with friends, go for a run or walk with family and friends. It has decent variety of trees and plants and also accommodates many sightseeing places such as mosque, museums or arch. Definitely worth place to visit in Brussels.
  • The most beautiful and large park in Brussels. It's got several sections, lots of benches and a few flower beds. Very pretty in good weather and a great spot for a picnic or short break from the busy city.
  • It's a very big park, the architecture of the main entrance is grand. You can have picnics during summer or just relax and enjoy the evening time with your friends and family. We went on Belgium National Day.
  • I love this park! It is very well maintained and beautiful. It is a great place to go for a walk or a run. This park is centrally located and easily accessible. It is next to the European Commission HQ. If you like museums then there are many museums around the park.
  • Nice place to go out on weekend just to enjoy the weather :) although there was a lot of dogs without a leash ( which don't bother me at all because I have dog by myself) although there was so many that my dog started being nervous and unsure of situation around her. Without this one, its awesome ✌️
