Visit the vast collection of botanicals at Serres Royales De Laeken, or "Royal Greenhouses of Laeken." Located just outside the city of Brussels, the glass-covered greenhouses shelter thousands of species of plants and flowers, commissioned by King Leopold II as a series of all-weather pleasure gardens. You'll find a chapel in the greenhouses, nicknamed the "Iron Church." Wear comfortable shoes to tour the huge complex, which covers 2.5 hectares (6 acres). • Amazing! It is open only two weeks per year and if you are in Bruxelles between April and march I really suggest to visit the royal greenhouses. It is beautiful and well maintained. It is a fairy tail
  • Amazing experience. The Royal Greenhouses of Laeken are located in the north of Brussels and it's only open during 3 weeks every year. Pictures always look empty, but do not be fooled, it is super crowded. There are some empty spots not accessible to the public where you can make pictures. You can choose either the short (1h30) or long (2h30) walk. Entry is only €4!
  • Perfect place to visit in Brussels. Open once a year only for limited time. Online tickets 4 EUR per person. Shop with some flowers and royal souvenirs located at the end of tour as well as refreshments corner with vast sitting area.
  • We enjoyed our visit in April 2023 for the few weeks per year that the greenhouses are open to the public. Tickets are €5 per person to enter during a pre-selected half hour window. Entry on the day was seamless, the grounds and greenhouses were stunningly beautiful. Highly recommend a visit!
  • We went few months ago. It is only opened from March to April. Beautiful royal gardens! Flowers and plants receive royal treatment! What a beautiful breathtaking experience. Flowers and plants that you have never seen before. There was a huge lineup but it’s totally worth every second. I cannot wait to go back one day.
