  • On a top of a mountain, you can visit the Monument to the Virgin Mary. Its about 100 meters tall and inside there is a restaurant, a museum and a small shop. A great place to take pictures, take a look of the city in an 360° angle and also you can get there and comeback in a cable car from the city.
  • Awesome place but a cold breeze that can make your bone collapse 😁😍
  • Historical place and a must see when you visit Oruro. An encounter of faith, tradition and history.
  • The Monument to the Virgin of Socavon also called Virgen de la Candelaria is the highest religious sculpture in the world, located at 3,845 m.a.s.l. in the flatlands of Oruro, Bolivia. The large sculpture of the Virgin of the Socavon weighs around 1,500 tons, has eight internal floors, and to build it around 1.5 million dollars were invested. Inside the monument there are eight levels, with viewpoints in each of them. There is a museum, souvenirs and handicrafts shop, a cafeteria and at the bottom there is a chapel.
  • One of the most interesting things to see in Oruro, good view and impressive scale but there's no reason to stay up there more than 5/10 minutes
